— Carrie Goller
Nature is Carrie Goller’s inspiration. A Bainbridge Island native, she now works from her studio on Washington's picturesque Hood Canal. Carrie transitions within several genres and multiple mediums including oil, encaustic, egg tempera, watercolor and mixed media. Carrie paints sea and landscapes, cityscapes, abstracts, still life, botanicals, custom portraiture, wildlife and nature, just to name a few of her subjects. She is well known for her creature paintings, especially birds.
Recently, Thirty-two of Goller’s paintings were featured in a solo exhibit at Washington’s award winning, Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, and you will still find tempting works of hers for sale in their museum store. Currently she shows the majority of her art in her own, Carrie Goller Gallery, located in Historic Downtown Poulsbo, WA, as well as in several other galleries across the country. Her work has been featured in national publications such as American Art Collector, and Jennifer Margell’s book, Encaustic. Carrie Goller is one of 500 juried world-wide signature members of Artists for Conservation Foundation.
As a colorist, I truly appreciate Carrie Goller’s work. She has a wonderful talent for creative combinations that really do engage the eye. Leatrice Eiseman, Director, Pantone Color Institute

Fun Story: Once, with a one week deadline to create four custom sculpted encaustic Four Seasons Trees, Carrie Goller took all meals in the studio; stopping only for sleep. The project was completed and flown to Florida on time and looked beautiful under a Dale Chihuly Seaform ceiling (see image below).
